Wednesday, November 18th, 2020
05.00 PM (+1GTM)
50 minutes + Q&A
What will you learn in this webinar?
Security Scope Definition (SSD)
Definition of the assets of the system, the security perimeter and the security environment.
Security Risk Assessment
Based on the security scope and the Failure Conditions from a Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA):
- Thread Conditions identification and evaluation
- Thread Scenario identification
- Security Measures characterization
- Level of Thread evaluation
Airworthiness Security is verified based on the following tests:
- Security Requirements Tests
- Security Robustness Tests
- Vulnerability Tests
During the continued airworthiness of the aircraft, consider security industry standards, perform a Change Impact Analysis and vary the effort depending on rework size.
Who is this webinar aimed at?
Airframe manufacturers, system integrators, equipment suppliers and certification authorities who need a quick, global vision on this topic
Design system engineers, reliability engineers or system engineers who would like to get an industry vision of the cybersecurity assessment process both from a purely technical point of view or aimed at certification approval
Professionals and Students
Any professional or advanced student involved with the security assessment of civil aircraft and associated systems and equipment
About the Speaker

In both System Development and Safety Assessment processes, the use of assumptions is a frequent practice to advance in the system life cycle. For our engineering efforts to have a solid basis, we need to be able to manage assumptions with a sound methodology. In this...
What is Functional Hazard Assessment?A Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA) is a top-down qualitative assessment whose goal is to perform a systematic examination of functions to identify Failure Conditions to prove functional integrity. Those Failure Conditions...
DEVELOP REQUIREMENTS FOR AIRCRAFT SYSTEMSRequirements for aircraft system development are the essential building blocks that define the functionality, performance, safety, and reliability of aviation systems. These requirements serve as the base for the design,...
